The 2026 Safety Seminar, organized by the Industrial Democracy and Temporary Employment Companies Department of the Histadrut and led by Tomer Reznik, Deputy Chairperson of the Histadrut and Head of the Department, brought together trade union representatives, safety committee members, and professionals to discuss the future of workplace safety in Israel.
The seminar focused on transforming workplace safety culture, emphasizing employee participation in safety committees, effective management of safety incidents, and strengthening cooperation between employees and management.
Through keynote lectures and professional panel discussions, participants explored how safety committees can serve as a key mechanism for promoting prevention, shared responsibility, and a strong organizational safety culture.
