are
The Fritz Naphtali Foundation was established by the Ottoman Law on January 1, 1968, and was registered as an association under Section 61 of the Amutot Law on June 30, 1982. The association’s establishment was part of a collaboration between the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) and the Histadrut. Its mission has included supporting various public objectives, such as advancing scientific, cultural, and social institutions, including educational and research organizations, and promoting research and socioeconomic development initiatives. The Foundation also aims to further international cooperation and social development democratically.

Forum Naphtali 2027
Preparations are already underway for the next Fritz Naphtali Forum, which will take place in late 2027 in Israel. Bringing together leading voices from Israel and Germany, the Forum will once again serve as a unique platform for dialogue, collaboration and more.

The Naphtali Forum Conference has the purpose to generate an event having impact in Israel on The Future of Work and Labour Relations as compared to other conferences having an impact on security (INSS annual conference) international relations (Herzeliya annual conference ) or economics (Horowitz annual conference).

Fritz Naphtali
Peretz (Fritz) Naphtali was a Jewish economist, journalist, and public figure born in Germany in 1888. He played a prominent role in both the Zionist movement in Germany and the economic and political life of pre-state and early statehood Israel.
In Germany, Naphtali published extensively on economic issues prior to World War I, headed the Economic Research Institute of the trade unions from 1926, and was active in the Zionist movement from 1925, serving on the executive of the Zionist Federation of Germany and as a delegate to the Zionist Congress in 1931.
